We offer a private school education for children ages 3 years through 8th grade.
Our academic day hours are:
- Preschool: 8:50 am–2:30 pm
- Kindergarten and 1st grade: 8:25 am–2:45 pm
- 2nd–4th Grade: 8:10 am–3:00 pm
- 5th–8th Grade: 8:00 am–3:10 pm
Extended hours are 7:00 am–5:30 pm.
Brighton School prides itself on building strong relationships between staff and students. Our class size averages 18 students school-wide, with a 10- or smaller ratio in preschool and Pre-K. In addition, there is at least one classroom aide in every grade to help individualize instruction.
Our students take the CTP test and score significantly higher than the state average and higher than students in nearby school districts.
Yes. We are fully accredited by Cognia.
Lunch is available for purchase through our lunch program partner, Wholesome Foods. You can download the app or create a login on their website to order lunch for your student.
Our PTO has a Brighton Gear sale twice a year. They will send out an email when those ordering windows are available!
Brighton School is located approximately 15 minutes north of Seattle and serves many communities within Snohomish County (Edmonds, Lynnwood, Mill Creek, Bothell, Woodway, Shoreline, Everett, Mukilteo, Lake Forest Park, Brier, Mountlake Terrace, Snohomish, Kenmore, Woodinville).

Brighton offers after-school clubs in the fall, winter, and spring. They are 8-week sessions and the catalog is found on our Before & After School page. We also offer a variety of Middle School sports throughout the year. See our Athletics page for more details.
Parents volunteers are always welcome! Reach out to your child’s teacher for upcoming volunteering opportunities. Also, volunteering for the Brighton PTO is a great way for parents to help with events, fundraisers, etc.
Yes! We are excited to welcome children from the Washington community to our camps. Our summer camps are open to all children, whether they are enrolled at our school or not. Holiday break camps may be reserved for enrolled students only, depending on availability.
