Welcome to Mrs. Richmond’s 4th Grade Class

Please join me in a wonderful year of growth and learning for your child in 4th grade. I am very excited to be your student’s teacher this year and look forward to becoming partners with you in your child’s education. I am planning a terrific year filled with interesting projects and opportunities for learning.

This year I am developing a classroom website to share information with families about our class. I hope it will be a convenient way to stay in touch with you. In addition, I will be sending home a monthly newsletter and calendar with highlights and upcoming 4th grade events. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you ever have any questions. This is my twenty-fifth year of teaching at Brighton School. I have experience teaching Kindergarten, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. In addition to teaching at Brighton, I have taught 4th grade in the Philadelphia area.

I have a Bachelor of Arts in elementary education from the University of Michigan and a Master of Arts in reading and language arts from Seattle Pacific University.
